Perception Engineer
You will be responsible for:
• Perform research and develop and implement algorithms in one or more of the following fields, applicable to automated vehicles:
o Computer vision (including object detection and classification) o Sensor modeling and 3D point cloud fusion o Probabilistic environment representation o Object tracking and data association
• Drive state estimation, statistical adaptive filtering, sensor fusion, and multi-object tracking.
Requirements:
• BS/MS/PhD in EE/CS or closely related field (or additional equivalent experience)
• Excellent programming skills in C++
• Excellent software design, problem solving and debugging skills
• Prior experience working on two or more of the following: Robotics, GPU technology, computer vision, machine learning
Preferred to have:
• Experience with sensor fusion, object detection/tracking and time synchronization
• Research / integration with ADTF, ROS, AUTOSAR
• Knowledge of real-time control systems
