Qualifications
BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
Excellent programming in C++/C and Python
Experience or familiarity with state of the art theory for visual SLAM, 3D reconstruction, bundle adjustment, and place recognition
Prior experience in pose estimation, probabilistic filtering, and/or nonlinear optimization
Numerical or scientific computing, strong mathematics skills
Consistent track record in implementing computationally expensive algorithms in commodity hardware
Comfortable building in undefined and dynamic environments
Bonus Attributes
Experience with autonomous robots
Experience with real-time sensor fusion (e.g. IMU, lidar, camera, odometry, radar)
Knowledge of computer vision techniques and machine learning
Publications on top-tier computer vision/robotics conference (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICRA, IROS)
